Steven ten Have

Steven ten Have is an organizational consultant and professor of Strategy and Change at VU University Amsterdam. He has been a partner of TEN HAVE Change Management since 2004. Steven is a member of the Supervisory Board at the St. Antonius Hospital. He also is a deputy councilor at the Enterprise Chamber in Amsterdam.
After completing the studies Law and Psychology in Utrecht and Business Administration at Nyenrode, Steven obtained his PhD at the University of Twente in 2002 on a dissertation on strategic changes and management at large international companies such as ST Microelectronics and Nokia.
As an organizational consultant, he advises several boards of directors, supervisory directors and supervisors as well as works councils of large and medium-sized companies and institutions on organizational change, strategy, restructuring and management, and top governance. Steven publishes on change management, leadership, governance and strategy and is author of, among others: Key Management Models, Het boek Verandering, Het Veranderboek, Veranderkracht, Change Competence en Reconsidering Change Management.
Previously, he was chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cito, chairman of the Supervisory Board of SIG, visiting professor at Nyenrode Business University and working at Berenschot where he was vice-chairman of the group management and chairman of the Works Council. Steven is chairman of the Foundation for Evidence Based Management (www.cebma.org).
